A MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/PRODUCER
As Musical Theatre West celebrates it's 50th Anniversary, we invite you to become a part of the fastest growing arts organization in the Long Beach area. Come see why over 60,000 patrons turn to Musical Theatre West each year for the very best in musical theater.
Our 2002-2003 season is filled with adventure, romance and a lot of laughter. From the madcap adventures of an eccentric auntie to a singing family of seven; from an ill-prepared heir to a dazzling revue of spectacular music from Hollywood and the Great White Way, this season holds something for everyone. We've also added two special attractions: our Summer Youth Conservatory production of Footloose and our holiday show featuring Broadway star Dale Kristien. It's a season the entire family will enjoy!
Musical Theatre West productions feature lavish sets and costumes, a live orchestra, and professional casts with recognizable faces from stage, TV and film, joined by outstanding local talent. Each production runs three weeks at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center on the campus of CSU Long Beach, and includes special performances for schools sponsored by our Youth Cultural Enrichment Program.
