MUSICAL THEATRE WEST CONTINUES 51st SEASON WITH "ALWAYS... PATSY CLINE"

March 9, 2004 Musical Theatre West continues its 51st season with ALWAYS... PATSY CLINE, playing at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center April 24 Ð May 9, 2004. Tickets are available at the Musical Theatre West Box Office located at 4350 E 7th Street, Long Beach. Starring in this production are Sally Struthers and Christa Jackson as Patsy Cline.

One of the best-loved names in country music is the subject of ALWAYS... PATSY CLINE, a funny and touching tribute as narrated by one of her most devoted fans and friends. In spite of her tragically brief career, Patsy Cline's voice continues to enthrall fans and influence many of today's country singers. This intimate show celebrates the career and life of the singer of such hits as "I Fall to Pieces", " Your Cheatin' Heart", "Walkin' After Midnight" and "Crazy".

Sally Struthers is a two-time Emmy Award winner. She made her splash on the national scene when she starred in the ground-breaking television series, "ALL IN THE FAMILY" and the rest is television history. Her Broadway stage credits include ANNIE and Neil Simon's all female version of THE ODD COUPLE.

Starring opposite Ms Struthers will be Christa Jackson in the role of Patsy Cline. Ms. Jackson has appeared on Broadway in productions of SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE and GREASE. She has also appeared in productions of HAIR, EVITA, ANYTHING GOES and was nominated for the LA Ovation Award for her appearance in ALWAYS... PATSY CLINE at the Coronet Theatre.

TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets prices for ALWAYS... PATSY CLINE at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center range from $35.00 to $47.00 Children under 12 are $20.00 to any performance. Student and Senior rush tickets are available for $20.00 one hour prior to curtain. Public rush tickets are available ten minutes prior to curtain (subject to availability) for 10.00. Group Discounts for parties of 12 or more are available by calling the Group Sales Department at 562-856-1999 ex 5. All tickets are available by calling the Box Office at 562-856-1999 ex 4, at the Box Office in person at 4350 E 7th Street, Long Beach (cross street is Ximeno) or online at www.musical.org.

SCHEDULE
ALWAYS... PATSY CLINE show times are Thurs., Fri. and Sat., 8 p.m.; Sat. and Sun., 2 p.m.(no matinee Sat., 4/24 and added performance on Sun., 5/2 at 7 p.m.). The performance on May 2, 2004 is a Hearing Impaired performance.
