A MUSICAL MERRY CHRISTMAS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 8, 2005 Musical Theatre West presents A MUSICAL MERRY CHRISTMAS on December 9, 2005 at 1:00 PM and 7:30 PM at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach.

This years performance will continue the tradition that Musical Theatre West has established by bringing together many of the stars of past productions in an all new celebration of the Holiday Season. The cast will include Stan Chandler (THE THING ABOUT MEN), Quintan Craig (RAGTIME And THE KING AND I), Tami Tappan Damiano (GUYS AND DOLLS, CRAZY FOR YOU and SINGIN' IN THE RAIN), David Engel (CRAZY FOR YOU, KISS ME, KATE and SINGIN' IN THE RAIN), Suzanna Guzm‡n (THE KING AND I), Christa Jackson (ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE), David Jennings (RAGTIME), Elizabeth Ward Land (THE KING AND I, THE THING ABOUT MEN and KISS ME, KATE), Bets Malone (GUYS AND DOLLS and ME AND MY GIRL), Larry Raben (Director for THE THING ABOUT MEN) and Janine Benson Wynn (SEVEN BRIDES...).

A special performance by the KIDS NEXT DOOR from the California Conservatory for the Arts will be featured.

Lee Martino will serve as director/choreographer for A MUSICAL MERRY CHRISTMAS, after her critically acclaimed and Ovation nominated work on the recent MTW production of GUYS AND DOLLS, many Christmas shows, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES and many other productions both at MTW and other local venues. The show features a live orchestra under the direction of Darryl Archibald whose MTW credits include SWING!, RAGTIME, THE WORLD GOES ROUND and the last two years Christmas shows.

TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets prices for A MUSICAL MERRY CHRISTMAS at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center range from $35.00 for adults and $20.00 for children under the age of 12.

Special discount seating is available for $20.00 adults and $15.00 children under 12 in the last four rows of the theatre. Seating in this section is limited and sold on a first come first served basis.

Group Discounts for parties of 12 or more are available by calling Scottie in the Group Sales Department.
