Musical Theatre West Guild

MISSION
STATEMENT
The Guild is dedicated to helping Musical Theatre West
preserve musical theater as a unique American art form
and enriching the cultural life of our community through
the presentation of established musicals, and the expansion
of our Youth Cultural Enrichment Program.
The
Musical Theatre West Guild was organized in 1992 to
be an ambassador of goodwill for Musical Theatre West
in the community and to provide a volunteer workforce
for the company.
What
does the Musical Theatre West Guild do to help?
-Assists
during rehearsals, helping with auditions, serving refreshments
to the cast, preparing mailings, publicity, etc.
-Members
serve as ushers, ticket takers, gift booth volunteers,
and help with cast dinners.
-
Participates
in the Youth Cultural Enrichment Program by ushering
at performances for school children.
-Provides
office help for MTW as needed.
-Assists
the Board of Directors with special fund raising events. |

What
is the purpose of the Musical Theatre West Guild?
The
Guild ushers at the productions, runs the gift shop,
helps in the office and with auditions, and provides
dinner for the cast.
The
funds raised from the Gift Shop, support the Youth Cultural
Enrichment Program and Actors Scholarship Fund. The
Guild contributes over $20,000 a year to Musical Theatre
West.
If
you are interested in an exciting and rewarding experience
in theater, consider joining the Guild and supporting
Musical Theatre West, one of Southern California's oldest
theater groups.
