Musical Theatre West, in conjunction with The California Conservatory of the Arts, presented the hot new Disney show High School Musical in August, 2007.  Record crowds attended each performance and the kids had a fantastic experience.  Next year's Summer Youth Conservatory production will be Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and will be performed in Long Beach as well as Anaheim in August, 2008.

The Conservatory is a chance for performers ages 10-20 to work with professional directors and designers and hone their skills while having a great time!

High School Musical is a story of two high school students: Troy Bolton, captain of the basketball team, and Gabriella Montez, a shy transfer student who excels in math and science . Together, they try out for the lead parts in their high school musical. Despite other students' attempts to thwart their dreams, Troy and Gabriella persist and inspire others along the way.
