Season Renewal FAQs

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Q: Can I renew online?
A: Yes, if you are renewing the same seats, quantity and series.  From a desktop computer or mobile device visit http://musical.org/online-renewal.  ON THE REVERSE OF YOUR RENEWAL FORM YOU’LL FIND ALL THE INFORMATION YOU NEED TO RENEW ONLINE.

Q: If I request an improvement in my seating, will I be guaranteed better seats?
A: Due to the amount of loyal subscribers MTW has, the seats you are requesting may already be occupied. We fulfill each request on a date received basis, meaning that the subscribers who renew first will have their improvement requests looked at first.  Donors of $1,000 or more are given priority in seating requests as well.  PLEASE NOTE THAT SECTIONS A & B1 ARE SOLD OUT FOR MOST PERFORMANCES, SO IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THESE SECTIONS WILL BE EXTREMELY LIMITED.

Q: If I request an improvement in my seating, will there be additional charges?
A:  Only if you are requesting a change in price section or an improvement that would result in a price section change.  We’ve included a seating chart this year so you can see where the different price sections begin and end.  Please initial the statement on the front side of the subscription form that allows us to charge or refund your card as needed for any difference in seating price. Due to our ticketing system, please note that changes to sections or series may require a refund of the original purchase price and a recharge of the newer pricing.

Q: I need to change series (want to make an improvement or add additional seats). Can you quote me my new seats?
A: We are unable to quote exact seats until after July 3, 2019. Before we know what seats are available, the patron services office has to process every subscription, then begin the improvement process in order of date received and donor level.

Q: If I change my series to another day and/or time, can I be guaranteed the same seats?
A: We will assign you the best possible seating based on your date renewed but cannot guarantee comparable seating.  Please note for those wishing to switch to a matinee performance: Matinees are our most popular performances and therefore the most challenging to accommodate requests in. We suggest giving us the most options possible for those wishing to switch to a matinee (for example, “I can attend any matinee, Saturday or Sunday” will give slightly more chance of accommodation than “I can only attend on the Week 1 Sunday matinee.”)  PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR THE 2019-2020 SEASON SECTIONS A & B1 ARE SOLD OUT FOR MOST PERFORMANCES and we are unable to guarantee comparable seating for those patrons needing to change series who currently have seats in these sections.

Q: Can I use more than one method of payment to pay for my subscription?
A: Absolutely! On a separate piece of paper, please list each person’s name (as it appears on their Credit Card or Check), their complete billing address, phone number and payment information.  We must have complete information on each cardholder in order to run the payment.  See below for an online link to a printable multiple payment form.  Multiple forms of payment are not available for online renewals.

Q: Where is the CVV code located on my credit card?
A: On Visa, MasterCard, and Discover, it is the last 3 digits on the back of the card. On American Express, it is the 4 digits on the front.

Q: Once I pay for my tickets, when will I receive them?
A: Your tickets will be mailed to you in early July 2019.  Please make sure we have your current address on file.

Q: What can I do if I lose my tickets?
A: All tickets can be replaced for free! Just call the Box Office and we’ll take care of you.

Q: Can I exchange tickets for a different day/time?
A: Yes, and you can do it for FREE within similarly priced performances and sections up until 24 hours before the performance!  Upgrade charges apply when switching to a higher priced performance (for example going from a Thursday evening to Sunday matinee), no refunds are given for a lower priced exchange.   Check out the Ticket Exchange Form that we’ll include in your season ticket package in early July for further information.

Q: Why is there a $10 Handling Charge?
A: Since we rent the Carpenter Center, there is a $2.50 per ticket facility fee that is charged per ticket. We compile this into a one-time $10 Handling Charge for our Subscribers regardless of how many subscriptions are purchased.
