Baayork LeeBaayork Lee began her Broadway career at the age of five in the original production of The King and I. She continued studying dance, but when she reached her full height of four foot ten inches, her hopes of becomes a ballerina were dashed because she was deemed too short. Still, she appeared in many Broadway shows before becoming a choreographer. After working with Michael Bennett on the creation of A Chorus Line, she went out on her own and has directed or choreographed many national and international tours of popular Broadway shows. She is the co-founder of NAAP, a non-profit that showcases the work of Asian-American theatre artists.
