MTW Master Class Nov. 13


Musical Theatre West is excited about our upcoming production of The Andrews Brothers. And to help you get in the swing and get in the mood we are offering this Master Class in the 1940’s style Big Band choreography!

Master Teaching Artist Christine Negherbon will be your guide as you explore all the smooth moves from the end of the swing era, and have an awesome time in the process.

This class is for grades 6th-12 with skill levels from advanced-beginning to intermediate, and above.

About our Master Class Teaching Artist

Christine Negherbon’s extensive performing credits include National Tours of My Fair Lady (Eliza u/s), Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (Starring Ann-Margret), Crazy for You (Polly), Chicago, 42nd Street (European Tour – Peggy Saywer), and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular.  Regionally, she has performed in Oklahoma! (Laurey and Dream Laurey – PA Shakespeare Festival), Cats (Jennanydots – The MUNY, Sacramento Music Circus), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie), just to name a few.  TV Credits include Hart of Dixie and Haunting Evidence.  Christine is an award-winning director/choreographer with productions such as 42nd Street (Norris Theatre), Holiday Inn & Mary Poppins (MTW), West Side Story, Crazy for You, Cabaret, and Hairspray at both regional theaters and universities.  She is an adjunct professor with both the Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance Departments at Hussian College In Studio. And she is on faculty at Palos Verdes Performing Arts and Fluid Dance Convention.  Christine is part of MTCA’s creative team. Additionally, Christine and her husband/actor Joe Abraham, are authors of “The Thriving Artists”, www.TheThrivingArtists.com, which they wrote to address the need for empowering and educating artists, particularly when it comes to their finances. They have two sons and live in Los Angeles.
