NEWSIES marks Mr. Engel’s 17th production at MTW with highlights being SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, CRAZY FOR YOU, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, both productions of THE ANDREWS BROTHERS, and both versions FORBIDDEN BROADWAY.  He has appeared on Broadway in PUTTING IT TOGETHER, SEUSSICAL, and in the original production of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES.  Most notably David created the role of Smudge in the original New York production of FOREVER PLAID and again in  PLAID TIDINGS, and can be seen in FOREVER PLAID: THE MOVIE.
