PUPPETRY with Rachel Williams (9/23/26, 9/30/26, 10/7/26, 10/14/26): Join actor and puppeteer Rachel Williams for this 4 week puppetry course where you will learn the fundamentals of puppetry for stage! With nearly a decade of experience puppeteering for theatre and theme parks across Southern California and training with the Jim Henson Company, Rachel will share with you the important basics of how to bring a puppet to life on stage through eye focus, lip sync, rod work, and character building. This class will focus on beginning fundamentals, no prior experience needed!
IMPROV with Henry Watkins (2/17/27, 2/24/27, 3/3/27, 3/10/27): Groundlings instructor Henry Watkins will teach the distinct character-driven approach that has made the Groundlings the incubator of so much talent on Saturday Night Live and beyond in a series of fun, friendly, and fast paced workshops. Students will emerge with an understanding of how to jump right in and create instant characters and scenarios while remaining grounded in good acting and conscious teamwork with their castmates in front of a live audience.
STAGE COMBAT with Mikael Mattsson (4/14/27, 4/21/27, 4/28/27, 5/5/27): Embark on a thrilling adventure in the realm of stage combat with our intensive 4-night workshop! Perfect for actors, directors, and enthusiasts craving hands-on experience, this immersive program delves deep into the art of staged combat.
