Isaak Olson is originally from the small town of Turlock, CA, where he got his start singing in Operas at the age of 7. He went on to study Drama and Musical Theatre at UC Irvine’s Claire Trevor School of the Arts. After graduation, Isaak moved to New York City, where he spent ten years working as a professional performer and arts educator. As an actor, Isaak performed professionally in over 30 different musical productions in a dozen different states across the US. Some of his favorite shows he’s done include: Oklahoma!, Les Miserables, Rent, 42nd Street, Spamalot, Avenue Q, The Fully Monty, Beauty and the Beast, and Footloose. He has also traveled the world singing on cruise ships with Norwegian Cruise Lines, performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, as well as worked in parades at Disneyland.
In addition to being a performer, Isaak is also a passionate arts educator — he is currently on the faculty teaching acting in the Musical Theatre conservatory at Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana. Isaak has always enjoyed working with children of all ages, from working as a teaching artist with Camp Broadway, touring the country putting on musical theatre intensives for teens, to teaching ‘Mommy-and-Me’ style music classes for young children and their parents in NYC. Isaak also works as a Casting Associate with Musical Theatre West in Long Beach. “Thank you to everyone who continues to support the arts!”
