Michael Brian

Michael Brian is a Los Angeles native who has been working in the industry as an actor, director, casting associate/director and choreographer. His screen work can be seen on the Emmys, American Housewife (ABC), Bob’s Burgers (FOX), Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (Marvel); Primo (Amazon); Superstore (NBC); Central Park (Apple); American Auto (NBC); Call Me Kat (FOX); Raising Dion (Netflix); This Fool (Hulu); Chupa (Netflix). On the stage, Michael was a part of the Los Angeles regional premiere of NEWSIES (La Mirada) which received multiple Ovation Award nominations, Cosmo Brown in Singin’ in the Rain (Pechanga Resort), Andy Lee in 42nd Street (Candlelight Pavilion), Lead Tapper at Knott’s Berry Farm, The Little Mermaid (featuring Todrick Hall), Bryan in the world premiere of Empty Hands (Boston Court), directed by Kay Cole.

Michael is on faculty at AMDA and teaches tap dance throughout Los Angeles, Orange County and Thousand Oaks. In addition to teaching tap, he is also a respected acting/audition coach and frequently teaches masterclasses and workshops in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Portland and more.
