Rachel Williams

Rachel Williams is an accomplished actor, vocalist, host, and puppeteer from Orange County, California. With a degree in Drama and Musical Theatre from UC Irvine, Rachel has performed all throughout Southern California in theme parks, regional theatre, and immersive events. Rachel’s passion for puppetry began in a production of Avenue Q, where she trained with the director of puppetry for Disneyland, Scott Silson. Since then, she has gone on to be one of the core puppeteers for Knott’s Berry Farm, puppeteer in the opening cast of Sesame Place San Diego directed by John Tartaglia (Fraggle Rock, Avenue Q), and recently trained with the Jim Henson Puppetry Bootcamp. Beyond puppetry, she has had the pleasure of hosting the New Year’s Eve Countdown at Knott’s Berry Farm for the past three years and performs regularly in regional theatre across Southern California. Most recent theatre credits include: Dance Ensemble/Mother (u/s) in A Christmas Story at San Diego Musical Theatre and Shelby Thorpe in The Spitfire Grill at American Coast Theater Company. She has a passion for teaching and an even bigger passion for making theatre FUN!
