Aidan McGuiness has grown up surrounded by Musical Theatre. A lot of that thanks to Musical Theatre West and their many programs offering musical experience to the youth. He was introduced to musical theatre through their education outreach program, and even won the MTW Footlighter Scholarship in 2021. He went on to attend California State University, Long Beach, where he earned a degree in Theatre Arts Performance and spent his undergraduate taking every opportunity he could to be onstage. His credits include Bobby Strong (Urinetown), Brad Majors (The Rocky Horror Show), and Noel Gruber (Ride the Cyclone). He was also recently honored with the LA Theatre Bites Award for Best Young Actor for his performance as Lewis Diaz in Alice in Slasherland. Today, Aidan’s journey has come full circle as he recently worked with Musical Theatre West’s Education Outreach Program, bringing live theatre to schools throughout Long Beach in hopes of inspiring other young actors the same way he was once inspired.
