As founding member and artistic director for Go-Fame Youth Theatre Company, Elaine Zofrea has done it all. She has built costumes, props and sets for the shows she has directed all while teaching her company members how to come together to put on a good show. Elaine is a graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers New Brunswick where she received a Bachelors of Fine Arts. After college, she went right to work in Atlantic City running spotlight for Trumps Castle. She continued her work as a stage technician in many Off Broadway shows including the original production of Driving Miss Daisy. Until very recently she worked as a stage technician at the Disneyland Resort. Her real passion was founding and running her own youth theatre program right here in Long Beach where she offered hands-on training for young people in all aspects of theatre since 2005. Many of her students have gone on to live as professional actors in various venues including Broadway.
