Forever Plaid: The 30th Anniversary Reunion Concert is a special one-hour celebration of the international hit, Forever Plaid. Classic 50s songs like “Sh-Boom,” “Catch a Falling Star,” “Three Coins in the Fountain,” “Chain Gang/Sixteen Tons” and more are crooned by Stan Chandler, David Engel, Jason Graae, and Larry Raben from the original New York production. Think of this as a moment to remember from the Ed Sullivan Show, but outside, in a ball park, with the scent of beer and popcorn in the air.

RUNNING TIME: Approximately 70 minutes, no intermission.

Musical Theatre West is abiding by the current State and Local Health Ordinance in regards to distancing, masking, and capacity restrictions. As with the ever-changing landscape of COVID-19 these restrictions may change at any moment. Please be advised and prepared for additional restrictions that may be implemented prior to this event. As of the purchase of this ticket, there are no capacity limits, and distancing and masking is not required for “Fully Vaccinated” individuals while outdoors. Mask are required for any indoor spaces regardless of vaccination status.  In the instance of reduced capacity, Musical Theatre West will make all efforts to reassign patrons tickets to a further spaced seat or an alternate performance. Added masking and distancing guidelines will be distributed via if the situation should arise.

Arrival and Parking:

Gates and Will Call will open one hour prior to performance. Limited $20 preferred parking (cash only) is located in the Blair Field parking lot (indicated on the map below in yellow). Free parking is located on Park Avenue or Deukmejian Drive (indicated on the map below in green).  VIP Field Seats and Premium Boxes (KK-PP only) see below for more information on your parking.


Outside Food and Drinks are NOT permitted, but snacks, wine, beer and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are accepted for concession sales.

Dress Attire:

This casual event is outdoors. We advise you to check the weather report and dress accordingly.

Face Coverings:

Face Masks are recommended but not required when outdoors at Blair Field. Face Masks are required at any indoor location regardless of vaccination status.

Blair Field Bag Policy:

Per Beach Athletics, ONLY FOUR TYPES OF BAGS ARE PERMITTED IN BLAIR FIELD, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY1) Clear bags that do not exceed 12″W x 12″H x 6″D 2) One gallon clear plastic freezer bags 3) Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand with or without a strap, no larger than 6.5″ x 4.5″ 4) Diaper bags – infant for which bag is carried must be present. ALL OTHER BAGS ARE PROHIBITED WHEN ENTERING LONG BEACH STATE ATHLETIC FACILITIES.  The above approved bags are subject to search at any time.

Other Important Information:

  • All patrons of any age must have a ticket for entry into this event.
  • There is visible netting between all stadium seating and the stage, it does not obstruct the view of the performance.
  • As Blair Field is a Stadium most seats require navigating multiple stairs, please alert the box office prior to the date of the performance should you need accommodations.
  • The Guild Gift Booth RETURNS! The Gift Booth will be open 1 hour prior to curtain. Help support our Education Outreach programs by making a purchase!

VIP Field Seat Information:

  • VIP Parking is indicated in red on the map below. You will have one parking spot reserved in your name for every two VIP Field seats purchased.
  • An exclusive side VIP entrance is where you’ll enter Blair Field indicated by the star below. At the VIP entrance you’ll pick out your choice of one (1) snack and one (1) beverage (per ticket included in your admission price). This private VIP Concession Stand is where additional concessions will be available for purchase, should you desire them.
  • After the performance stay in your seats and you’ll attend a short 15-minute meet and greet with the Plaids. For the safety of you and the performers you must be masked at all times during the meet and greet.

Premium Box Information

  • Premium Box parking is indicated in yellow on the map below (in the preferred parking section). You will have up to two parking spots per premium box. Please give your name to the attendant while driving in.
  • A carafe of wine and cups will be provided to you for the enjoyment of your party (no glass is permitted inside Blair Field).
